Artificial Grass Care is an artificial grass cleaning and maintenance business based in Weybridge, Surrey. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- If you enquire through this website: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the lawn size and pet options you selected, and whatever you type into the message box.
- Photographs you send us. Most quotes are priced from photos of your lawn. Those images, and any measurements you give, are held with the quote.
- If you become a customer: the address of the property, access arrangements, and the record of what was treated and when.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
- To quote for the work. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- To carry out the work. Performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in running the business.
- To keep a service history. Our legitimate interest in knowing what was applied to a lawn and when, which matters if a treatment needs repeating or reviewing.
Who we share it with
Only with the suppliers who run the systems we use — our email provider, our website host and the form service that delivers messages sent from this site — and with anyone we are legally required to tell. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful, and deleted on request. Customer records and service history are kept while you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can answer questions about work we carried out.
Photographs of our work
Before-and-after photographs are how this trade demonstrates what it does. We will always ask before using a photograph of your lawn on this website or in a quotation, the image will not identify your address, and you can say no or change your mind later.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is what we relied on.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
